On Friday December 2nd, 2022 at 6PM the Historical Courthouse Museum will be hosting the annual Village Tree Lighting.

We will be joined by the Rustburg High School Marching Band and Rustburg United Methodist Church Bell Choir. Then, you will be invited to head inside the library for a whole bunch of holiday activities and pictures with Santa. Each kiddo will also get to choose a free book! It will be an evening to create magical memories! Also, Snowflake Alley will be in action!

Our address is 774 Village Highway in Rustburg, VA 24588.

Can’t make it next week? No worries! Visit the Library’s website here for more information: www.campbellcountylibraries.org/santa

We are currently open from 10am-3pm BOTH Fridays and Saturdays, and will be closed from December 17th till January 6th.

Since February 2013, the Historic Courthouse has been fully renovated since its’ build in 1848. With an HVAC system, fresh paint, new cupolas, and elevator, the courthouse is now home to our ‘step back in time’ museum rooms, personalized gift shop, and genealogical resource room.

The museum is staffed by Historical Society members and volunteers every Saturday to give tours of our 9 exhibit rooms or research familial history. As the centerpiece for the Campbell County seal, we take pride in the history we represent here at the courthouse.

We welcome anyone who is interested in volunteering or becoming a member. Please reach out to us via email about any interest.
